About me

Andrea Zanasi, Team Lead

Born in Bologna on January 26, 1993, I've worked in IT since 2015. I started out in consulting, working across different client projects, before joining a large insurance company, where I now lead a team and make architectural decisions. In my free time I keep building: I design and develop applications from scratch, from idea to code.

Right now

I lead architectural decisions for my team and work with management to plan the adoption of artificial intelligence in our development processes.

Today

Unipol Assicurazioni — Software Engineer

Software design and architectural decisions for the team, plus planning AI adoption in our development processes. In my free time I design and build personal applications — like Gestore Costi Veicoli.

Outside of code

Cars, motorbikes and a family garage.

When I'm not writing code, I'm probably in the garage. It's a passion I share with my father: together we take care of our vehicles in a small family garage/workshop, including a few classic cars we're particularly fond of.

That's exactly where the idea for Gestore Costi Veicoli was born — between maintenance sessions and conversations about what a vehicle really costs to own over time: a simple way to keep everything under control, one data point at a time.
